[ Rocket will try not to question just how it works (still getting used to the whole 'magic' thing, but after whats-his-fuck-face who had used the magic of colourful stones to eviscerate half of the universe's population, he's ... willing to believe it's the kind of thing that would work when needed.)

He likes the craftsmanship of the stitching, and the design of it, and eventually he'll sew it into his robes, easily accessible by himself but not so visible that someone might take note of it — or worse, try and steal it from him.
